The Forester, a Hyatt Place Hotel

From the moment we arrived we were comfortable. This property is beautiful and close enough to base and the city that it felt like a good “home base” for our trip. The restaurant was delicious. The food, coffee bar and cocktails were all exceptional.

The room was extremely clean and modern. There was no password needed for the wi-fi, which was a HUGE plus (I always have trouble getting signed in at other hotels). The on-site restaurant actually had really good food. There weren't a lot of options on the menu, but what we ordered was very tasty. The bar in the lobby stayed open until midnight (kitchen closed at 10pm) and the drinks were strong and tasty!

My sister and I stayed at The Forester for a friend's wedding. Great room and staff. The on-site restaurant has breakfast and dinner options and it's affordable. Lots of shopping and places to eat about 10 minutes away including a mall. The rooms are modern and clean and the staff is always willing to help. We had a great time.

The hotel was perfectly fine, but the value of $400 per night was seriously lacking. It met my needs but for that price I expected A LOT more.
